liesdontfindyou: (pb; you good)

It's been one hell of a trek. It's not the first time CT's had to cross desert territory for an objective, but it was the first time without climate-controlled armour, and it's a relief to be done with it.

CT tends to hang at the edges of the group, and that remains her intention when they reach the city—it's nothing against anyone, CT is just still largely used to being alone. She pitches her energy into scouting for useful things—she’s focused less on food, more on potentially useful things like fabrics and rope and lightweight tools—and she's still at it when she eventually encounters Stacia crying. At the angle she’s come from, she can’t see what she’s holding just yet.

"...Stacia? Is that upset crying, or overwhelmed by something else crying?" It's been a long— well, a long day, yes, but a long several days, really, she can imagine a lot of things that could push someone to tears.
