Follow the example of those who know better. That has been Ange's way of handling things for the time being, mostly because she has never been out there in the wild. Once Stacia closed her eyes and covered her nose, Ange blinked and did the same.

It's easy to feel a little silly, following someone else's lead in this sort of thing as if this was a game of Simon Says. Next Stacia is going to get her to stand up on one foot and clap her hands, she thinks, sardonic.

"This can't be how you envisioned your day would be like -- serving as the last defense against sand abrasions. That's too bad"

Ange's voice sounds muffled behind her hands. She knows Stacia is still there, and she probably can hear her clear as day thanks to her sense of hearing in this form, Ange supposes. Even though Ange sounds so nonchalant about that...she does feel kind of bad for her. Can't be great to be there getting blasted with sand for who knows how long.
