So far the whole 'people thrown together from a bunch of universes' thing hasn't really phased Ace. He has seen weirder and heard about even weirder than that. There is supposedly an Umbral realm with cartoon physics.

This place feels real, though. The place he was before was about as weird and conceptual as you can get. So much so that the memories aren't really compatible with his current form. He is pretty certain this is just a world.

That being said... Rivendell?

I mean big robots that turn into cars, super heroes and androids are all the stuff of fiction back home but so far he hasn't run into anyone he personally has a read a comic book or seen a movie about.

Rivendell, though? That's Tolkien. Everyone has heard of Tolkien. Hell, half of those Black Dog games wouldn't exist if it wasn't for those books.
