Elle is making sure to take small pauses before she answers each of Stacia's questions. She takes enough time to make it clears that the answers are deliberate, but short enough that Stacia can tell that she hasn't really had to think about any of them yet.

Elle doesn't really have a specific goal here. Other than appreciating the distraction and relishing the chance to be the person who knows things, for once, she's using this as an opportunity to get to know Stacia better. Stacia has always seemed a bit unreachable to Elle. It's nice to meet her own relatively equal footing.
