There is rumor of a phoenix involved, and it is reinforced by the standard her soldiers bear - a symbol of a phoenix. There is also rumor she has killed and absorbed the powers of several evil queens, such as the Ice Queen.
If that is true, she may hold many powers.
Sauron's threat is more straightforward. Where the Princess favors strategy he is fond of brute force and overwhelming numbers.
