It's a weird moment for this, for sure. He's a solid presence despite his thin frame, unflappable and unflinching despite the creature furiously trying to get at them. He keeps his hands to himself until she leans on him, and then as if taking that as permission to help, his other hand gently catches her elbow, providing at least that small bit of stability and support.
And all the while, his eyes are only on her, intensely and unsettlingly red.
"The memory is worse," he says simply, like there's nothing at all disconcerting or even impossible about the montage of brutalizations. "It's more than a Lilim should be able to bear alone. But you aren't alone right now, are you?"
Unfortunately, his calm demeanor is a bit counterproductive in prompting rage. Unless one happens to find that unflappable chill infuriating, anyway.
