She shoos the people out into the open and slips back out herself, at which point she finally sees the Nightrender herself and swallows, hard.

"I'll have to— wait, what about you? What are you gonna do?"

She's a very clever girl, Cammie, but sometimes a tiny bit slow on the uptake and the rescued people are already getting a little restless, which doesn't help. Neither does her heart pounding thinking about what'll happen if a Nightrender gets closer.
